Lunch will be “at pilot’s discretion”.  Food is not provided so please descend via the escalator to the Airport Terminal’s food court. We will break for 30 minutes.

Note: If you have children make sure to stop by the Minions store.

Military Ambassador Program

Southwest Airlines Military Ambassador Program is a Team of veterans and military spouses serving as liaisons between Southwest’s Operating Groups and Employees. Our ambassadors are charged with being a point of contact for their department or workgroup on all things military and being familiar with and promoting the resources and tools available to veterans.

Military Program Lead

Southwest has a dedicated Military Program Lead who serves and educates our Employees who are veterans, as well as our military spouses, while networking to attract veterans to Southwest.

What to bring

Feel free to bring your résumé and application, but please don’t ask SWA representatives to look at it. While they are planning be actively recruiting people to come work for them, they have asked that you save your documentation for the application process. They are here to meet the real you, not the interview version.

We will have representatives from Checked and Set, MilKEEP, Cockpit2Cockpit, MIL2ATP and ForeFlight there as well that may be able to assist with some tough questions you are having with your résumé or application.





Dress Code

Be yourself! Suit and tie are not allowed…this isn’t a chance to do an interview. It is an opportunity for you to meet with some great folks from around the country and even representatives of a few great companies.

You will not be out of place in Jeans and a POLO shirt. Shorts and flip flops might be a bit too casual, but you won’t be turned away.

Be comfortable and relaxed.

Day 1 – Pilot Networking

We start the event on Saturday 10 Nov at Happy Hour. Dinner will be provided as you network with other attendees TPN-style. This is an informal event that is intended to be 50% Party, and 50% Professional Networking. The pic is a view of the VIP lounge overlooking the event space.
